Although Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is the world's busiest airport, figuring out where to park doesn't have to be a headache.

Parking is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and all lots accept cash and major credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover. You can pay via the Pay-On-Foot pre-pay parking machines in any of the parking lots or terminals, or at the automated machines in the exit plazas.

There are more than 30,000 public parking spaces at Hartsfield-Jackson—but if you want to be absolutely sure you have a place to park, you can reserve your spot ahead of time online.

Bear in mind that Hartsfield-Jackson is replacing the North and South parking decks as part of the airport's $6 billion improvement program. These will each have four to eight levels.

ATL is also constructing a new West parking deck next to the SkyTrain Gateway station, plus a new Sullivan Road Park-Ride lot with 1,000 extra parking spaces.

Due to the ongoing construction, parking availability and pickup locations are subject to change, and off-airport parking shuttles and regional shared ride shuttles may be affected. The entire project is expected to be completed in 2027; check the ATLNext website for the most up-to-date information. If you have any questions, you can contact the ATLNext team through this form.

Hourly Parking

If you’re dropping someone off or picking someone up, short-term parking is your best bet as the lots are located directly in front of each terminal.

You can find these spots in the North and South Hourly Parking Lots, along South Terminal Parkway at the east end of the Park-Ride Reserve lot. Rates: $3 per hour for the initial two hours; $4 per hour for the next four hours; $36 for 6-24 hours; and $36 per day for each additional day.

There is also a 160-spot free cell phone lot where you can wait for no fee.

Daily Parking

Travelers seeking the closest overnight, covered parking will want to park in the daily parking lots, directly across from each terminal. This parking area has four levels. Rates: $3 per hour or $19 per day.

Economy Parking

If you want to park at the airport but save a bit of money, economy parking is available. The lots are located adjacent to the parking decks. This lot serves both terminals. Rates: $3 per hour or $14 per day.

In case you don't want to walk to the terminal, a courtesy shuttle cart can pick you up from either the North or South Economy parking lot. The shuttle runs every day from 8 a.m. to midnight.

Park-Ride Lots A and C

Just like economy parking, these off-site lots offer complimentary shuttle service to both the North and South Terminals. Upon returning to Atlanta, arriving passengers are picked up at the Ground Transportation Center and returned to their vehicles. Rates: $3 per hour or $10 per day.

International Hourly

The hourly parking deck, which is steps from check-in and arrivals, offers more than 1,100 parking spaces. It also features 14 close-in parking spaces for alternative fuel vehicles and 14 parking spaces for carpools. Rates: $3 per hour for the initial two hours; $4 per hour for the next four hours; $36 for 6-24 hours; and $36 per day for each additional day.

International Park-Ride

This facility on Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Boulevard offers 2,600 parking spaces and requires just a three-minute ride on a complimentary shuttle bus to the international terminal's curbside drop-off area. Rates: $3 per hour or $14 per day.

Gold Parker Program, Reserve Lot

Skip the ticket line and head to the reserved lot for a guaranteed covered parking space adjacent to both parking decks. Rates: $3 per hour; $34 per day maximum. You'll need to apply for this program and make an advance payment of $200. ATL recommends membership for frequent fliers who park at least 12 days a year. The application form is available online.

EV Charging Stations

Hartsfield-Jackson provides over 100 electric vehicle charging stations in these traveler parking locations:
